Join us at the Avondale Arts Center for a fun spring break camp centered around sustainability and a love for the planet we inhabit. Expect to see artwork made out of found or repurposed materials, projects that will encourage kids to imagine a better and more eco-friendly world, and lessons that will challenge and inform our perspectives on sustainability in fine art.

Led by Isadora Pennington, and assisted by Megan Milliken, these camps will include opportunities for communal projects, individual assignments, free-time, story-time, and breaks for fun, physical activity. Students will be expected to bring a sack lunch and a water bottle each day. During lunch, the kids will be able to stretch their legs at Town Green next door to the gallery.

Typical daily schedule:

8:45am - 9:00am - Drop Off

9:00am - 11:00am - Lessons, activities, and projects

11:00am - 12:00pm - Lunch and recess at Town Green

12:00pm - 3:00pm - Projects

3:00pm - 3:30pm - Choice time

3:30pm - 4:00pm - Clean up and prepare for pickup

4:00pm - 4:15pm - Pickup

4:00pm - 5:00pm - Aftercare (additional fees apply)
